The Family Trips: EMARS WAVEPOOL

Welcome to the first Wave Pool Resort in Mindanao! Cheapskates as we are, we will guide you on how to enjoy a little expensive resort by spending lesser than usual. Entrance fee for this resort is currently at P200.00 for adults, and P150 for children 3 to 12 years old. Cheapest cottage is priced at P250.00 plus corkage for food and drinks.

It would be best to come to this resort early in the morning, when the sun's heat is not yet piercing through your skin. From downtown Davao City, take a minimum fare jeepney ride with Ecoland route. Your stop is at crossing Times Beach (before reaching SM City Davao). There you will find tricycles which can take you to the resort. Fare is P5.00. Yet, if you are cheaper than P5.00, you can stop at the corner where the jeepney turns right to SM City. From there the walk to the resort would be shorter. The resort is quite near for a walk...really.

We came here after lunch so we could avoid the corkage and the prices at the resort cafe. "Ting!" savings. Djuzamdjin is only 2 years old so he is free of charge. "Ting!" savings. And since we are not bringing any food inside the resort, we are allowed to go without renting a cottage. "Ting!" another savings. We used the poolside recliners for free instead.

Although if you really wanted to be fully comfortable, renting a cottage is not a losing idea. Coming here and spending is worth it.

Pool Side

They have a great landscape and arrangement. The place is well maintained and cleanliness is emphasized. Now let's take off our shirts and dip ourselves into the pool.

Children would surely enjoy this place. Life vests are free to use and lifeguards are on always on watch. The pool waves for 30 minutes and rests for 30 minutes. When the siren shouts, wave starts again.
